An important application which have been modified with user feedback is the Microsoft Word. Documents produced in Word will now get the look and feel of a document which has been created in the desktop version of the browser. The browser version of the Microsoft Word in Microsoft Office 2010 was created accordingly. The document gets back the same experience as in the desktop. It also has a ribbon user interface enabling fonts change, formatting, styles etc..

Even the Outlook feature in Microsoft Office 2010 has been given a face-lift. It also has a ribbon-user interface. It has been given the same feature as enabled in Word, PowerPoint and Excel. The UI of email conversations in Outlook 2010 has been revamped and it almost looks like a message tree now. It gives the option to users to more visual view of sent and incoming emails. The option of the search functionality has also been modified to improve and now it is much easier to find content. Previewing calendars in emails has been enabled and one also has the option to ignore specific email conversations.
